I am Lucia Dorado.

I'm Lucia Dorado, a Brighton, UK, Filmmaker and Photographer. I specialise in cinematography which has naturally developed from an early photography background. I like to create surreal and sometimes unsettlingly real films, that give audiences a chance to experience bliss escapism which can lead to thought and reflection.  As you may have seen, most of my work includes three main themes: Movement, Colour, and Expression.  These aren't just critical within my work,  I also try to incorporate them into my daily life.

The philosophy for my photography is far simpler; to capture the pure essence of someone's being, especially when they're not looking.
